How about this: Understanding the power mind games have over our lives, and even the fate of nations, makes the old saw about renewing our minds (Romans 12) that much more applicable. I do ...Very much enjoyed your journey in this post. I do prickle at any thoughts of anorexics being weak in faith, but understand that is not what you are saying. The hardest case I ever worked with was an anorexic woman who was struggling so deeply with her faith, trying to come to terms with her mental illness & her God. It was nearly impossible for her to process a crisis in faith & a crisis in health simultaneously & it almost killed her.

It is funny how something becomes so big in our minds. You are not alone in "making a mountain out of a molehill." We all have something that we let us define us.

Again, enjoyed this post!Erynhttp://www.hearth2heart.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23483482.post-2111293861108672052012-02-04T13:07:16.228-05:002012-02-04T13:07:16.228-05:00Oh my. (I almost wrote "make us feel unclean" and then realized that no thing has the power to make us feel anything, but still....) There are family dynamics that do it, because they have been inculcated at such an early age.

Nevertheless, I am happy for you that the cyst has been removed.Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18167296198042569211noreply@blogger.com
